Liza is a baker with a public health brain and a big love for real food. Her journey began while working in health prevention, where she saw firsthand how deeply our food system impacts long-term wellness. After joining her first CSA, curiosity turned into a calling, and she started rethinking everything about the ingredients in her own kitchen.
What began as a personal shift toward cleaner, whole foods quickly grew into a passion for baking. Liza now creates small-batch, nourishing treats made with thoughtfully sourced ingredients — food that feels comforting, joyful, and genuinely good for you.
Meet Libby! The Mother.
She’s a bubbly, tangy queen of fermentation. She spends her days lounging in her mason jar penthouse, throwing wild yeast parties, and dreaming of a world where carbo-loading is the new ‘it’ diet.
Libby is a bit of a diva with her demanding feeding schedule but she makes the crustiest, most delicious bread you’ve ever had! Without her, none of this would be possible.
